The Story of Christ needed to be told, It had been told hundreds of years prior to His coming. Only One would meet the profile. ... to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent ... ~ Acts 8:26-35 ... He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; ... ~ Isaiah 53:1-12 Who is Jesus? Described as a loser, not attractive. → Jesus died for sinners → Jesus was for life and its’ advancement Jesus was successful in life without exception. Humans are bumbling failures. People hide things, make up for things gone astray. → He became LIFE for us. ~ Eunuch needed help – wanted to be right with God. The answer is understandable...
... and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded ... ~ Acts 8:4-12 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body ... ~ 1st Corinthians 12:13 ... unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom ... ~ John 3:5 ... "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." ... ~ Acts 8:36-39 He taught of a new life, a new birth rising through belief and baptism. What should I do to be in Christ? → Baptism is just the beginning. Jesus is not just the Savior but He is also Lord. No One is more important. |
