Miracles

... a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs
which God did through Him ... ~ Acts 2:22-24

And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?
~ Acts 2:8

... tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers;
~ 1st Corinthians 14:21-22

... whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge,
it will vanish away. ... ~ 1st Corinthians 13:8-10

Many high spirited souls today claim power of tongues and miraculous abilities.

It was never intended for first century signs, wonders, and miracles
to continue after that time span. If it was to be continuous,
then where are they today? Does the Pope or so called
Mormon apostles raise those dead or walk on water?

Those fantastic wonders and signs are left to us as examples from the past.

... "Tabitha, arise." And she opened her eyes, ... ~ Acts 9:36-42

"... not seeing the sun for a time." And immediately a dark mist fell on him, ...
~ Acts 13:6-12

... But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. ...
~ Acts 28:3-6

... So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, ... ~ Leviticus 10:1-2

"... in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, ... ~ Daniel 3:18-30

It has never appeared that miracles are a routine event.
In the days of the Apostles, miracles were not always the way of choice.

Erastus stayed in Corinth, but Trophimus I have left in Miletus sick.
~ 2nd Timothy 4:20

Healings and such were done as spectacular affirmations
~ confirming God is Alive for whatever particular instance
He inspired they be done to fulfill His will to regain us.

Miracles can be a matter of consequence and either positive or negative.

God has given His commitment to man again and again.
He NOW waits for man to make his commitment to Him.

He has given sufficient knowledge of Himself for individual salvation.

Testament Miracles
Miracles
of Jesus
Miracles of Apostles
and Disciples
Currently without blatant miracles, signs or wonders,
NOW waiting for Souls to Return from HIS Son’s Calling

It should be obvious that no televangelist
has raised someone from the dead, walked on water,
~ or truly healed anyone.

Jesus mostly asked those He healed to rise up
and not to fall backward into someone’s outstretched hands.
Jesus never asked for money for any of His healings.

At best, false hoping witnesses have made miracle claims which are not valid.

... Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. ...
~ 1st Corinthians 15:33-34

... "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free." ~ John 8:31-32
