Darkness is the sign of being cut off from God. Our existence is in a state of retrieval. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD. ~ Genesis 4:25-26 └─> Abraham └─> Isaac └─> Jacob └─> Joseph └─> David └─> Jesus └─> Faithful As the command of God was ignored, pursuing selfishness, hate and jealousy entered into tranquility as others called for God. ... And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, ... ~ Genesis 6:5-8 Regrettable when people abandon the goodness for one another as God would have it. His will extends in hearts common to His ways of truth in love. "... To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; ..." ~ Genesis 12:1-3 With so much rebellion, and lack of goodness, even so as such after the flood, God found loyalty in Abraham who maintained unconditional faith. Selfishness is the cancer that destroys love and closes the heart in darkness. Promises made to Abraham:

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. ... ~ Romans 4:13-15 The promise not only extends to the physical lineage, but more to those that through faith uphold righteous trust in Him. ... it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith ... ~ Romans 4:16-17 An invitation to live has been given by God
Simple all the guises God delivers for honest hearts to know. Eternity is scoffed at by men in his deaths, yet God offers a better way. ... Faith is something that surpasses all intended thoughts and moves upon eternal hopes. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. ~ 1st John 3:2-3 Our hope sanctifies our hearts from the pollution of man in his selfish pursuits. God looks to find loyal faithful hearts
God calls to everyone to believe in His promise. PART 2 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ. ... ~ Galatians 3:16-17 Christ is our rest, the rock of our salvation, and the seed of God’s own truth. For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise. ~ Galatians 3:18-20 If a promise is broken then it was originally a lie. Promises without truth are what line the sewers of man. Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! ... ~ Galatians 3:21-22 Finding God comes by a humble believer
In rebellion, God delivered divine laws to guide all who would live by the promise of faith in Him. But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. ~ Galatians 3:23-24 What came before in law showed all mans inadequacies. The touch of God frees us from spiritual sleep and awakens the heart to know His truth, under the oppressive reign of men. The Law exposed man's sinfulness
But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ~ Galatians 3:25-27 God welcomes those striving to be Christ like
Faith makes simple open hearts with more than could be. Faith gulps on eternal precepts. The Promise stands above the Old Law
... if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. ~ Galatians 3:28-29 Faith combines truth with life in view of His unending youthfulness. God never grows old. ... of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, which things are symbolic. ... ~ Gal. 4:23-24 The flesh is a test in being able to overcome treachery. ... for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children -- but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. ~ Galatians 4:25-26 Not all find truth that sets the soul free to be in the presence of God. It involves acceptance of what He has done, though not seen. To be free one has to believe. ... as Isaac was, are children of promise. But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. ~ Galatians 4:28-29 In the rage of flesh, with all of its’ selfish failings, individuals attack spiritual values despising any accountability for goodness or not. Superiority is an illusion many die upon as they fall in disgrace. ... Scripture say? "Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman." ~ Gal. 4:30-31 The flesh cannot deliver what the spirit can know. Peace has no part in what is alone in the lusts of man. The Promise of spiritual freedom over physical bondage
... But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; ~ Romans 9:6-7 The seeds have been thrown to grow back to God as they will. ... those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. ... ~ Romans 9:8-9 Those that believe are counted as the sands that flow upon eternity. Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham." ~ John 8:39 The key word in life’s consequences is what do we do. Do reflects the destination of our souls under the judgment, and promise, of God. Quiet or loud, all that is special will be found by God. Where would we be without mercy? A wonderous call comes by the highest part of a heart. The Ephesians wanted to trust in their five senses. Diana was the deity they worshipped. <─┘ Great blessings and promises come from God. └─> Not of this world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. ... ~ Ephesians 2:13-14 God shows no difference in His love for us. The light of a soul is the measure that causes one to walk into heaven or to be dismissed to the well of cowards. ... ... having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, ... ~ Ephesians 2:15-16 Love’s deepest treasure comes back to Him
God dwells in the bottom of each heart. To not see this is to be blind. ... now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, ... ~ Ephesians 3:5-6 The path is written in stone where His promise will remain. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. ~ 2nd Peter 3:9 The patience of God upends all who would question His presence. ... since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, ... ~ 2nd Peter 3:11-12 How can one live on temporary time where chaos rules over order? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. ~ 2nd Peter 3:13 In all that He is, His promise will deliver the faithful from oblivion. All faithful hearts rest on His promise. PART 3 God lifts those who obey and rely upon Him. After the death of Joseph, the Israelites suffered oppression for 400 years. God never forgot His promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. ... water gushed out; It ran in the dry places like a river. For He remembered His holy promise, And Abraham His servant. ~ Psalms 105:38-42 To find is not to reject. "... to all that He promised. My servant David, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel." ~ 2nd Samuel 7:8 Many are called from the mundane to preform His will. "... I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever." ~ 2nd Samuel 7:12-13 What cannot be halted is missing those that have gone before. A message screams across time not to lose the battle winning eternal life. Many are frozen unable to wait for the truth of His eternal love. "'... David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.' From this man's seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior --Jesus--" ~ Acts 13:22-23 God’s promise rises in the truth of Christ
When one looks to the past it is more an expose on men seeking their own rather than serving the whole. Service to God often takes a back seat to fulfilling man’s desires and or lusts. "... 'Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.'" ~ Jeremiah 32:42 God will not wait on the proud, whose destruction will be swift, as they have stolen the time of others. I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah:'" ~ Jeremiah 33:14 Truth can not be altered, as it is clear, past anything man would want to change. ... of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? ~ Hebrews 9:13-14 Christ is the light of truth itself for who would have life in God. God scarified His own life that we may take ours. One can say nothing more as He has given all. ... He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. ~ Hebrews 9:15 What could be more than an eternal inheritance? ... hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, ... ~ Titus 1:2 Hope is the anchor to eternity. And this is the promise that He has promised us - eternal life. ~ 1st John 2:25 And His promise is that very most precious commodity; life itself. ... having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. ~ 2nd Cor. 7:1 In the cross of life, to purge what is despicable, is the call of God. ... by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ~ 2nd Peter 1:2-4 Longing to return from alone finds God
Coming to the promised land lies in the sanctuary of each heart. Peace is what a humble heart obtains knowing His word is true. ... Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, ... ~ Romans 15:8 God came in the flesh to confirm His own promises for our redemption. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. ~ 2nd Corinthians 1:20 Christ is the epitome of what man should aspire to be. ... blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. ~ Galatians 3:13-14 Through faith we might receive what He has promised, if we waver not from His truthful words echoing our return. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, ... ~ Ephesians 1:11-12 God through Christ is offering all who would believe, and have Him, eternal blessings in life. ... having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. ... ~ Ephesians 1:13-14 Our return is sealed in a trusting belief of His word
To hear, abides in waiting until His trumpet calls. ... who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. ~ James 1:12 Who would deny the crown of life but those who would deny His promise in the eternal love of life. God’s Rock of sacrifice has never faded from view
God’s promise endures throughout the age of man. PART 4 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" ~ Numbers 23:19 It may take more than a human lifetime, but God delivers on His word in His time of patience. The Lord cannot be quantified in all His glory as men quibble over their beliefs. God is God who created man, not that man created God. ... The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations. ... ~ Psalms 33:10-13 The LORD cannot be replaced or substituted. To find God is to find one’s own heart. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, ... ~ Philippians 3:20-21 Confession is made of the mouth, that we believe in Him, who is able to lift us into the bliss of His love. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. ~ Hebrews 13:14 We seek something that cannot be bought, but has been purchased; redemption from death. "... I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; ..." ~ John 14:2-3 Home holds the sweet flavor of comfort in love
Our hope comes to light in the word delivered for us to know. ... If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ~ 1st John 1:7-9 Our ascent to heaven only comes by Jesus, the door to eternity. ... He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," He said, "you have heard from Me; ... ~ Acts 1:3-5 Jesus appearing in the flesh, after His crucifixion, sealed the promise, to come by His announcement of the truths of God’s plan for soul retrieval. ... to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. ~ Acts 2:33 Christ rules from the right hand of God. Truths of God do not change, though mankind caters to different doctrines distracting many to believe in lies. When men choose men over God, deception is the guide to destruction, no matter how noble in appearance. Imagination has two sides as light is to darkness. ... "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, ..." ~ Acts 2:38-39 To be part of His promise hearts must come to God
A common message is to confess to God and believe in His word. Arguing over truth is not accepting truth but remaining in rebellion married to proud hearts. The Holy Spirit comes to humble hearts and flees from the arrogant ones. "... For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." ~ John 3:16-17 God hopes all will regain senses of Spirit over those destructive characteristics that steal the joy of holiness. Coming to Him is conditional based on His word and what He expects from His children. The offer of everlasting life has been made for us to respond to or not. God looks for honest hearts. ... life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. The law of His love has come upon all who would have His offering to come home to His seal of truth. ... through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. ~ Titus 3:4-7 In Christ we become new finding eternal life
What God does in Jesus is wash us with His everlasting truth. ... hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. ~ Hebrews 6:11-12 God wants us to come to Him because we want to, not because we have to. Orders or commands by man do obscure the true reason for His coming, to set us free from mans domination and manipulations to control the masses. God works with one soul at a time, collectively. ... chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? ~ James 2:5 What can never be satisfied in the flesh can be easily obtained in the spirit. What is free has no cost when accepted as the gift that it is, life. When children love you, it is easy to forgive them and love them, welcoming them home. The complement is found in diligent study and observance of His word. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. ... ~ Hebrews 10:23-25 Own your own faith. └─> Build on your own faith. └─> Read scripture. └─> Look to the promise through Christ. └─> Heir of the grace of God. └─> Now a child of God. └─> Believe God. └─> Repent of sins. Hope is the slide we ride into eternity. ... done the will of God, you may receive the promise: "For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry." ~ Hebrews 10:35-38 Living, and how one endures or not, declares character. There are the faithful, and the faithless. Each respond to their circumstances; one with love and patience, and the other with contempt and distrust. It is the same as being hopeful or hopeless. To gain heaven we have to do our part by faith and good works. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ... ~ Ephesians 1:13-14 For Christ and God we hear the promise
When we trust, a contentment comes, by which peace bears upon our love. He to adores all who seek to be close who are far
God’s promise reflects His love for all His children. Darkness finds home below the bottom. |
