People say they believe, but do they?

Baptism is the key to enter the relationship.

~ False religion has schedules of plans for baptism later.

... and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ ...
~ Acts 2:32-40

It is consistent in scripture, specifically, in the book of Acts,
the immediateness of baptism.

... were baptized; and that day ... ~ Acts 2:41
                                             └─> Implied urgency

If you believe the Bible,
how can you not be baptized now,
if you truly believe?

"... What hinders me from being baptized?" ... ~ Acts 8:35-39

Philip taught the gospel and with haste, the eunuch was baptized.

... And immediately he and all his family were baptized. ~ Acts 16:23-33
└─> What one must do to be saved, not later, but now.

Salvation is more important than the time of day.

... why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, ... ~ Acts 22:12-16

Acts gives a consistent picture.
Baptism took place immediately, with urgency and with no delays.

If you put off baptism, you show that it is not important.
It is God’s commandment.

... "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized ...
~ Acts 10:44-48

If God has commanded us to do something, should we delay?

... and did not delay To keep Your commandments. ~ Psalm 119:59-60

We should obey God now, not later.

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
~ Galatians 3:27

... to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. ...
~ Romans 6:4-14

... but the answer of a good conscience toward God ... ~ 1st Peter 3:21

When you are baptized, it is not the water, but
an appeal to God to obey Him with a good conscience in Christ.

... when he says to you, 'Wash, and be clean'?" ... ~ 2nd Kings 5:9-14

There is danger in delaying.

                   The seed is the word of God. <─┐
... the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. ...
~ Matthew 13:19

Satan will take the word away from you.

"... the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day."
~ John 12:48

Delay will not cut it on the last day.

        ┌─> As one gets older it becomes harder.
... Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near ...
~ Ecclesiastes 12:1

If it is not urgent, you will not do it.
If you have an excuse to do it later you live in sin.

... "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." ... ~ James 4:13-17

DELAY = SIN

... as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? ...
~ Romans 6:1-4

Our baptism should not be forgotten.

We must devote our lives to God.

We have all defiled the world and have done great sin.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. ... ~ James 3:6

We are all terrible sinners and that is why we need baptism.

If you are a Christian, run, flee from sin.
