Sometimes tradition spawns defiance for the desire of independence. Don’t reject the truth if it is the truth. ... Faith can not be piggybacked. Do you search for God’s calling? ... let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. If we just come to church to listen or sit with others, we may not own our own faith. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ~ Romans 10:17 It needs to come from yourself, through the word of God. Faith is something one desiringly thirsts for. ... unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? ... ~ 1st Corinthians 14:19 God has made it simple to understand His will through His word. One needs to continually grow through self study. └─> This is owning your own faith. ... lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.
