??/??/2021 ~ God abhors the Proud,
                      Greedy, and Dishonest

🕷
Darkness hides behind what is gone.
The wicked exalt themselves as gentle victims.

... Why do You look on those who deal treacherously, And hold Your tongue
when the wicked devours A person more rightous than he? ~ Hab. 1:12-13

All should know a day of reckoning is coming, for all that
each of us has done, in life, under God’s watchful eye.

... He has ceased to be wise and to do good. He devises wickedness on
his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil.
~ Psalms 36:2-4

Those mired in conceit and hating will not find wisdom in this life, as their
hearts are set to do evil. Split personalities are among the most insecure
and potentially wicked, in the fears and desperate secrets they hide.

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion,
that they should believe the lie, ... ~ 2nd Thessalonians 2:11

A lie is an opinion that goes against reality. Oblivious to the truth,
false convictions lead to wars among mere men of little intellect.

He who hates, disguises it with his lips, And lays up deceit within himself;
When he speaks kindly, do not believe him, ... ~ Proverbs 26:24-26

The smell of abomination has all that is fake in it. All liars have
shallow hearts, and for the faithful, we must look deeper.

These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
A proud look, A lying tongue,... ~ Proverbs 6:16-19

Generally, when one fails in one point, all is lost
  1) A proud look
  2) A lying tongue
  3) Shed innocent blood
  4) Devises wicked plans
  5) Swift in running to evil
  6) A false witness who speaks lies
  7) Sows discord among brethren

It is too late for all of us, in failing to live up to the standards of decency.
A change or turn of heart is necessary to receive His gift of forgiveness.
Hearing is part of the healing.

... He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who
tells lies shall not continue in my presence. ~ Psalms 101:5-7

There is no shadow that will not be uncovered, and all that is dark
will be cast off as God reveals Himself when death awakens all.

... They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable,
disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. ~ Titus 1:15-16

Many find delusions more attractive, either in denial or not,
rejecting His word. Going to hell in a hand basket is one lowering
oneself unable to blame anyone else. We are disqualified when we
stop caring for others and whole heartedly embrace cynicism.

The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.
~ Psalms 5:5

Pride will be the great condemning judgment for many who believe they
are entitled to His gifts without accountability. Mercy will not be given to
those that show no mercy. Callous boastful hearts rarely see the hate
or despising attitudes that devour them, as to perceiving their
errors of character. The many, the proud, the humans.

... Whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He swears
to tell the truth, but reveals nothing. ~ Proverbs 29:22-24

Anger is comfortable to evil spirits. Pride is the pit they dive into as
their words have no value for lack of true heart. Those enraged
usually are assisted by the lies they promote. To retain honor
one has to be truthful and humble of spirit.

By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; ... ~ 2nd Peter 2:3

For the love of material wealth, there are those who at all lengths
will envyingly destroy all who have, as they endlessly attempt
to steal what they can never get enough of.

... note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the
doctrine which you learned, and avoid them. ... ~ Romans 16:17-18

There is a hole many fall into, and it is not a favorable one.
Unbeknownst to the oblivious, who are indiscriminately cruel, they
reap the disdain of those around them. Though they exalt themselves
through pretending kind smooth speech, mean spirited self-seekers rarely
have any true friends. We must remain on guard, especially since we
have been forewarned of the simple or gullible, perhaps innocent,
being easily deceived. Ignorance is what the malicious feast upon.
They themselves act innocent of their own wicked schemes.
Amazingly they continue to expect even after their wicked acts.

"... hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of
riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful." ~ Matthew 13:22

If only money is one’s goal, frustration and heart-ache will never subside.
A curse with no end holds sorrow as the prize. More to the point, God is
not glorified as the supplier, creator, giver, where there is no thankfulness.
Lack of appreciation, for an unthankful heart, sets in on the death of life.

For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when
he is nothing, he deceives himself. ~ Galatians 6:3

The braggart or showoff is entirely full of himself, to the degree that he
exalts himself above all others. There is nothing humble about a braggart.

Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, But afterward
his mouth will be filled with gravel. ~ Proverbs 20:17

To gain through unjust means will cause a soul to afterward regret the
loneliness it delivers. To our shame, it is often the one that does the least
amount of work, percentage wise, who reaps the most booty. The rotting
cash leaves piles of misery as the bankers leave heartlessly.

So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain;
It takes away the life of its owners. ~ Proverbs 1:19

There is no real quality of life for those who remain greedy.

... an abomination to the LORD, But a just weight is His delight. When pride
comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom. ~ Proverbs 11:1-2

Unjust rewards condemn souls who believe subversively
Dishonest an abomination
to the LORD

Pride comes → Comes shame

Humble = Wisdom → His Delight

What is broken has no sweet words. The root of dishonesty is mired in
pride, while it twists sneaky plots that eventually deliver all who engage
in its’ darkness, to shame. To be wise, humble insight has nothing higher.

"He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who
is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. ..." ~ Luke 16:10-11

Character is defined by the little things one does
    Faithful in what is least
is faithful also in much

Unjust in what is least
is unjust also in much

As we attempt to climb to be better than we are, integrity is the
bottom line. Which side of the line of justice will one choose to be in?

"... No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and
love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and mammon." ... ~ Luke 16:12-13

Choices in life determine how our hearts thrive or die. Those dark
character qualities will never lead to the fruits only God can give through
His word. Goodness cannot be replaced or substituted. Love and hate is
nebulous at best when indecision plagues a heart. To love or to not, and
what are the considerations? Quite a kaleidoscope among all who search.
The truth is, one can only serve a heavenly wisdom or an earthy desire,
and not both; that would be hypocrisy which divides truth in a lie.

... the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard
all these things, and they derided Him. ... ~ Luke 16:14-15

If money becomes one’s god, blindness to
all that unfolds beyond time, will elude one.

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend
it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! ... ~ James 4:3-4

If it is just to fulfill our pleasures before caring for others, we miss
the message eternity writes on the hearts that know. With the focus
on only what the earth supplies fails to see the most of what is.

... the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. Riches do not profit in
the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death. ~ Proverbs 11:3-4

Only good honest hearts will have the
opportunity to enjoy eternity under His care.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and of a sound mind. ~ 2nd Timothy 1:7

Extremes explain lengths one does in satisfying desires
Spirit of Power, Love, and Sound Mind

Honor
                                 Pure                    Faithful

Righteousness                        Honesty

  Wisdom                Just              Humble

Hate
   Pride                     Deceit

Conceit                Boastful            Dishonesty

    Greed                  Unjust

Spirit of fear

What makes man think he is the epitome of creation, but a proud heart?
This is the required test, to embrace God or man. It defines how one lives,
and how one will die. The height of discovery is just beginning,
or as said, at an end with no return. Attitude and beliefs
define the depth of happiness and or sadness.

When Christianity is not on display evil reigns
God will judge who deal treacherously
Plotting deceivers have seared consciences
Those that lie to themselves cannot see truth
As chameleons, close evil-doers lurk among us
God will cast off the proud and all who work deceit
“Look at me” attitudes disgusts the Lord
Who demand respect steal from humble truth
Those serving themselves use smooth words
Greed will devour the life of who has it
Little lies are the same as big lies
Lovers of money expect to be served
Desire for money does not deliver peace
God wills we’re fearless with sound powerful minds

To find Honor one must abide in His word.

Darkness evaporates on what it does not have.
