For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 6:20-23 ● 1st Blessing = Forgiveness ... forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace ... ~ Ephesians 1:7 ● 2nd Blessing = Indwelling of the Spirit ... your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, ... ~ 1st Corinthians 6:19-20 ... but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. ... ~ Romans 8:26-27 The Spirit helps us in our prayers. ... to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, ... ~ Ephesians 3:16 ... God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, ... ~ 1st Corinthians 10:13 His strength is there to help us withstand temptations and trials. ● 3rd Blessing = Divine Providence Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, ... ~ Psalm 68:19 God is in control and determines what is best for us. ● 4th Blessing = Chastisement ... If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; ... ~ Hebrews 12:4-8 God chastens us when we do wrong Without discipline there is no maturity. ┌─> Per the Law, they had to show the priests they were healed. ... and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. ... ~ Luke 17:11-19 └─> Only one?
● How many times have you thanked God for forgiving our sins?
Is it always “give me, give me,” or do we say “thank you, thank you.”
● Do we thank the Spirit for helping usin bringing our request ● How many times do we thank God for discipline? It is for our own good to become better people. <─┘ ● We all have blessings we can and cannot count. ● 5th Blessing = Being a Christian ... I go to prepare a place for you. ... ~ John 14:2-4 ... And the street of the city was pure gold, ... ~ Revelation 21:21 ... He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." ... ~ Revelation 21:5-8 ... redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. ... ~ Revelation 14:3-5 To see the amazements of splendor with the Father on the throne with all the redeemed ... A blessing that can hardly be described.
... our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing ... ~ Ephesians 1:3 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ~ Galatians 3:27 When we are in Christ we are entitled to all these spiritual blessings. |
